Justine started the year with much difficulty as she had to deal with the aftermath of a divorce from her husband of four years, Pierre-Yves Hardenne, but ended the season on a high note. In fact, she became the first ever female player to bag home a whopping $5,367,086 in earnings in a single season. Not only that, she also became the first player, since Martina Hingis (in 1997) to win double-digits title.She dealt with her problem positively and used it to fuel her to a very successful season. 2007 has been a record-breaking season for Justine, capping victorious 63 out of 67 matches and winning her 10th Sony Ericsson WTA Tour title of the year. She always display great determination to win matches, although there were setbacks. She kept her cool and fought til the end. And for that, she rightfully deserved to end this tremendous season by defending her No. 1 ranking for a second year straight. Way to go, girl!
